Preserving Clare House in Images
The buildings are gone. The playing fields have been built over. The classrooms, dormitories, and halls where Clare House boys learned and lived exist now only in photographs.
This gallery preserves the visual history of Clare House Preparatory School – the places, faces, and moments that tell the story words alone cannot capture. These images, saved by alumni, staff families, and local historians, are all that remain to show what Clare House looked like and what daily life there felt like.
Whether you attended Clare House yourself, are researching local history, or are simply curious about this vanished school, these photographs offer a window into seventy-four years of educational tradition in Beckenham.
